In know that technically wind power isn’t exactly a new technology. But most people still can’t see the full potential in learning how to use wind power in our homes. If you think that wind power isn’t strong enough, you should learn about all the people who are using windmills as the sole provider of electricity in their homes.

If you still think wind energy is a third rate form of energy, you should take a look at countries like Denmark. Denmark now generates 20% of its entire national electricity from wind. It’s free. It’s renewable. It will never go away. Pretty Impressive isn’t it?

So if an entire country can generate that much power from wind, what’s your excuse? Having wind power your home should be a piece of cake, and it is! You can build a simple windmill for your home that can be used to take some of the burden from your electric bill, that you are paying right now.  Read more...

The University of Delaware Wind Turbine Project – The University of Delaware and Gamesa Technology Corporation joined forces to install a utility-scale 2-megawatt (2-MW) wind turbine at UD’s Hugh R. Sharp Campus in Lewes. The joint venture, First State Marine Wind, is a partnership between UD-owned Blue Hen Wind and Gamesa USA.
